So our 2019 Countryman Cooper S is fitted (all round) with Bridgestone Turanza T001. And the two fronts are past their best and need replacement fairly pronto. As you may know they are run flats. And to be honest I have never found the ride uncomfortable on them.
So now im wondering what my options are. Just replace the fronts with another pair of Bridgestones. Or I assume I can just put on another brand of RFT. Or replace all 4 tyres with non run flats. But what about the TPMS valves. Would they need to be replaced. And I would also have to get a spare and a jack etc. Sorry for the possibly dim witted questions.

Lots of cars are sold with normal tyres and no spare wheel. Typically there's an "inflator kit" which is intended to put some sealant goo into the tyre and then pump it up. You can buy inflator kits anywhere. Worth keeping that AA/RAC membership ticking along as well.

So it's very much up to you whether you want RFT or standard tyres.

I think I will stick with RFT having not found them noisy or uncomfortable on this car. But I assume its ok to go with another brand if I have to. And as long as they are a matching pair on the same axle

I'd stick with the Bridgestone if you are happy with them, different brands can be more noisy or not as comfortable, why take a chance on something that you have to live with until they wear out.
Can also rotate tyres front to back (or any other way) if they are all the same brand/size.
