trying to locate the yaw sensor for a 2012 mini

Can anyone tell me where the dsc yaw sensor is likely to be located on a 2012 r58 mini coupe, i can't find information on it anywhere i thought under the seat but its not their, is it under the centre console ?

Possibly near where a handbrake lever should be......as centrally mounted as possible?

It seems to be the most favoured location i'm thinking under the centre console

Yes as mentioned it's under the centre console near the handbrake and has a optical fibre connection instead of normal wiring.

Cheers for that i will let you know how i get on its a process of elimination to get these pesky lights off

Towards the front of the handbrake is the air bag, back is just carpet with steel body underneath i'm stuck on where this thing is. Under the seats nothing is visible except two yellow boxes one under each seat that i take to be something else not this sensor as their identical i'm looking for 1 of something. Any ideas where to look next ?

Download ISTA - this is the BMW workshop diagnostic system that also has all the repair procedures - you should be able to get the location easily from that
