Have eventually got around to doing the For Sale ad for the Spider. Have to say it's been one hell of a fun year and I could not have asked any more from my first Ferrari. 3000 miles belting around Europe and the Alps in the first three weeks, then taking it down to visit Burriana Beach in Nerja on the Costa del Sol last month. Fantastic, simply no other word for it.

I just hope i am not making an almighty mistake and that the next one treats me as well

Sad to see it going Al, still one of the best sounding Ferraris and best lookers I have ever seen in the flesh!

Yep, Tom's right, the 512 Testarossa to be precise, however... I have not dismissed the obvious advantage of a 456. All the power of the V12 but a 2+2, which means it would be a lot more usable... still not a TR though is it.

Saw an engineer guy a few years back had fitted a baby/child seat in the middle of a TR. He may even be on here! Granted, he was a bit gutted cos his kid was getting too big for the seat.

Cheers Rico, I have a shot of a superb yellow 512Tr that I have been trying to upload onto Fotango for the last 45 mins, but Fotango appears to be acting up as usual and won't upload!

First colour pref will still be Rosso Corsa over tan though.

yep, it is one of the highlights, high up in the Alps, sweeping 90 mph left hander cutting through a bright green mountain pasture, just the slightest bit of drift ... aah, that was a day

Cheers Raks Definitely more to come... just might go through a bit more petrol in the next one!

Just noticed you have a Cobra replica... bumped into one waiting to board the ferry at Santander the other week. From what I could gather he seemed to spend most of the time on one continuous road trip round Europe, which seems perfectly reasonable to me
