Coil Problems???

I have just fitted some magnecor KV85 race leads to my Chim and noticed that the original ht leads from the coil has some fluid in it, it looks like OIL!?!

Does anyone know what this is? is it broken?

Sounds like the heat is melting the insides, change it to a BOSCH one, these can withstand the heat better.

Your coil has 'popped' - mine did this at Bedford Autodrome - a load of oil comes out when you take the lead off. You'll need a new one but they're relatively cheap (i.e. <£30).
