For all the tiptonic owners, who likes the red gear indication LED's? Personally I find them distracting. To me, red means something needs my attention and my eyes are drawn towards the instruments. Green would have been a far better colour in my opinion, situation normal.

Who agrees/disagrees?

Personally I like them, just wish they were on all the time, not just when the sidelights/headlights are on. I do agree they would be better in an orange or green rather than red

Shame they didn't suss it a bit more and make them green

I wonder if there is any kind of aftermarket kit, or even just replacement LEDs?

Changing the LED's would be easy enough, just need an RS catalogue, a solder sucker and a steady hand.... Getting to them would be another matter

Oh dear! I hadn't even noticed the colour - I'm a bit colour-blind, anyway. Can't say it bothers me, therefore.

D'oh, my dad is red green colour blind, I had forgotten about that

I might see how tricky it is to split the instruments when I take them off to fit the OBC and then do a post about it with pictures etc. If anyone ever reads this and knows the LED values so I can get some green (or blue) ones in before the event I would be glad of the info.

Surely as Tips are indeed gay- the shift lights should be pink?

It occurs to me that all that fondling of gear knobs is a more obvious sign of gaiety.
