Not heard of this company before:

http://www.lancashiretrade.co.uk/stock.html

If you scroll down to around the middle of their stock page they are selling a 996, here's the details:

1998 S Registered in Arctic Silver metallic with full black leather interior. Only 44,000 miles with F.P.S.H. A very unique specification on this vehicle including xenon headlamps, 18" Sport Classic design alloy wheels, T.V monitor incorporating playstation with D.V.D player, Panasonic touch screen stereo system with C.D and remote control, electric front seats with drivers memory, clear indicator lenses package, rear aerofoil spoiler, electric windows, electric heated door mirrors, remote control central locking with alarm and engine immobiliser, automatic climate control. One of the best looking 996's available, pristine throughout, only £27,995.

Is this from a reputable company?

Don't know the company, but they have some pretty good stock.

Seems like a good price, but not out of this world, as the way the prices seem to be going lately.

Depends if you like tiptronic though.

Just remember to keep ten grand in your back pocket for a new engine when it needs it.

Ideally I wanted a manual, but the triptronic seems to have a lots less rms failures so at this age the Triptronic is the way to go to minimise rms problems
