buying a 996..help needed

Going to have a look at a 996 at the weekend..

80,000 miles , full pmdsh ,1998 2wd

What do I look for,ie..any specific engine noises,regular trouble spots ?

looks like we are in the same boat....I'm interested in a 996.....seen a few lemons so be careful!!!

I bought my first 996 C2 three weeks ago after approx 6 months of researching and hunting for the *right* one.

I ended up getting it from a small Indy in Surrey - Hawthorns and getting Porsche Guildford to carry out an inspection. Absolutely made up with it, although I have started the mods already - getting a PSE fitted on Monday (boys and toys!!)
