Does anyone know when the new civic is due out?
I have seen a couple of pics, but cant remember if a launch date had been confirmed.
Reason I ask is a mate is looking to get a 2nd hand Type R and I have told him he might be better off waiting (depending how long obviously), cos 2nd hand prices always drop when a newer model is released.

Production of the out going civic finished on friday, so expect new civic's in dealers in the next month or so.
The civic launches in 5 door only with a 3 door some time towards the end of 06, and IF an R version comes out, I say "IF", because Honda haven't confirmed yet, that'll be end of 06 into 07.
Prices of the R will fall, but it won't be because of the incoming new model. I think it'll have more to do with the new competition in the form of the Focus ST, Astra VXR and the new Leon.
Last thing I read on the CTR, was that there are 250 unsold units at dealers around the country.
