80,000 people crammed into Brands Hatch witnessed the Peninsula TVR race team gain 3 podiums in one weekend with their T400R. The Kent circuit played host to the A1GP race as well as the GT racing in which Peninsula acquitted themselves so well.

On the Saturday Richard Stanton completed the whole 125 kilometre race to finish in 3rd place after a hard drive battling with a large group of Porsches.

For the Sunday event with the largest car racing crowd at Brands Hatch for nearly 20 years, John Hartshorne took the C.T.C. and Spar backed car to another podium finish.

After collecting the laurels and champagne for that race John was then sent back to the podium once again as the team had managed 3rd overall in the GT TAG Heuer 250 event.

The team is now looking forward to the next Le Mans event in Turkey in November.

Superb news, and one that begs the question: how long are the whingers going to carry on slagging off the S6 in the face of mounting evience that it's a racing engine and should be treated as such?
