nah its coming only from the d/p's....
ive found that the new d/p's don't have a 6mm lip off the flange, like the originals do, suggesting that the manifolds are recessed....
could this 6mm recess in the manifolds cause a tick?

I guess if the bolts aren't tight it could be moving slightly, that might do it. The flanges may have been ensuring a snug fit and now they're gone it can shift a bit.

Is the joint bearing any weight or are the zorst hangers carrying it?

Also, does the downpipe have flexi-joints?
