I was down at David Batty's last night and saw the S he's been restoring. It's in great nick. Had been sitting in a shed for ages but he's done a great job getting it back to its former glory.

Not sure how much he wants for it but you probably won't find a better example of a car of that age.

That's encouraging to know - I was talking to him at BTaP & I'll be looking to him to provide mine with a little TLC at some point soon..

Went to see Tim who has my old car last night and he has done it proud. He was locked in the garage for the first 3 days of ownership polishing and preening the car. The engine bay sparkles to the point where even the brake lines are shiny !!

The pressure caps shine ! The bulkheads have all been polished. He has put a metal gate round the gear stick which looks really good IMHO.

I am so chuffed that it is being totally cared for and looks so damned good.

Christ I miss it so bady ! I have promised myself that I will own another one day.

Seeing Aidan's on track the other day just reminded me how damned good locking they are and how much fun they are on track.
