Roof Seals

I am struggling with the front and rear roof seals on a Chimaera 500 in Singapore. The rear seal has been replaced three times, and the front once. I am going out of my way to ensure the roof is in place properly, but still the seals tear constantly. I wonder if it is the heat (as car in Singapore in 32+ degrees) or if there is some kind of lubrication that I need on the seals, or if I just dont know what I am doing. Any help will be grateful. Could well be the heat. A touch of rubber and nylon lubricant would be worth trying. Is it possible that the waterproffing on the roof is actuall causing the stickyness?
