997 GT3 pics n Autoexpress!!!

Pictures of a test car...without much disguise.
Its got flared rear arches a lovely MK1 996 type GT3 wing and a central exit exhaust with a funky looking diffuser at the rear with the cup style front end.

IT LOOKS AWESOME guys - AWESOME.

Still not convinced about the 997 styling /mumble.

I think I'm becoming what I despise. One of those car owners who always dislikes the new model!

Buy the mag mate - Different pics for sure. The car is clean and shorn of disguise. They've flared the arches and the rear end looks lovely....
Central mounted exhaust exit and the buckets look like they're out of the Carrera GT.
It looks ANGRY...

Haven't these been available for some time?

I saw one being photographed around Nurburg last weekend, and even back in Septemeber one of the Classic Le Mans Racers had one in his pit garage.

Maybe I should have got some pics !

er...to me it looks like a 997 with an extra front & rear spoiler.
The exhausts make it look like a Boxster S from the back & I always thought the rear bendy spoiler looked a little strange.

Actually dont think it looks as good as a MK2 996 GT3 from the front.

Sure it will be a fire-cracker though.

Had a chance to look at the pics. Doesn't really push my buttons, but I guess I'm not that big a fan of the 997 anyway. Thought the rear lights looked particularly small and pinched.
