Well i'm shocked,i really thought you rated the Gt3 as an all rounder ie fast road use great track car reasonable comfort, seems i read you wrong.
My view is that.. if not tracking the car at all, then what is the point of owning a track car.!
I get more of a buzz from trackwork than I do twisty B road, reason being, I'm not gonna get knicked and less likely to fall off the tarmac. Also on track you can push pretty close to limit with more confidence.. Hence for me, GT3.
If my bag was twisty B road, with odd trackday.. then I'd have a 4WD tool, either TT or C4S.. or an Evo/Scoob.
IMO

I do see where your coming from, but for me unless the gt3 is that un-useable for roads'there are alot of people out there(me being one of them)
that like a car to be as razor sharp as possible, but still fairly easy to live with.
The reason i pointed that guy your way is because the gt3 fits this bill for him,he wants a car which is a bit raw but still useable and is'nt to fragile for 10thmls per year, also does'nt want to loose shed loads of money after 3years.
He used to race so hence the GT3.
It was more your day to day driving experiences of the gt3 that i thought would have been relevant to him rather than the track stuff as i think he has an understanding about how a track car will feel.
I would given him my opinion but i have never had the pleasure of ownership i'm affraid.
And lets be honest boxsters or gt3?
After an M3cls? not hard to see where i'd go,track use or not.

kurgen ! RS is not cheap , fantastic condition though ! i sold a black one this year done 13k for 70k , had this one twice , ive got a couple of people looking at the moment . but its a very strange mkt at the moment ! fortunateley there are only 44 of them , so at least its not droping in value every month !(fingers crossed)
