246GT Dino magazine feature

I thought you may like to know that the current issue of Total 911 magazine has a feature on a 246GT Dino - a head to head road test comparing a 246GT and a 1974 911 2.4S...the Dino comes out rather well!

It's likely to be the first of a series comparing 911s to the comparative Ferrari of the day. F40 vs 959 should be a fun one!

Magazine is available from WHSmiths (not their railway station stores though) and 'all good newsagents' and also from the total911 website at www.total911.com

I have original Car and Autocar editions from '88 each with an f40 vs 959 head to head road test. Never fails to raise a smile. Will never dispos of them (although wife has tried!).

Would be good to see how a head to head stacks up 20 years on.

Abso-bloody-lutely, and I promise I'll be an impartial spectator

Having said that, my fave GT Race car of all time since I was a kid is a Porsche... the 917 to be precise.... in Gulf colours naurally. Though I've just been pouring through my Ingo Seiff "Porsche - Portrait of a Legend" and the 906 looks pretty interesting :scratchhead: in a strange Ferrari kind of a way

And yes 917 in Gulf colours ....... my son went loopy when he saw one at Goodwood....
