Looks ok, do not like the bass bin in the back, but does it sound loud? I drove up the M5 this morning with the normal pioneer and could not here it to well and when I turned it up the speakers couldn't handle the power, thus distorting.

I hope his does not distort the sound too much?

Karl, where did you acquire your MP3 player. I'm thinking of getting one - what is the storage capacity? Is it easy to hook up to a PC????

It the kenwood Z383W the retail price is £499 but same as any thing have a good look around i found it on www.planetaudio.co.uk for £324 you can't store the tracks on it but its easy to make the MP3's on your PC if you have a burner then you can get about 14 albums on one CD,

As for the sub and speakers they sound great very nice and clear and very loud

The best peice of kit I have seen is the Sony mex1hd which has a 16 gig hardrive and can store up to 240 albums of 60 minutes each. what speaker numbers are they karl? I may order some.

Sorry didn't mean to offend over the bass bin, just not my cup of tea.......

Thats wierd, I was pricing up the exact same speakers for my Cerb last week. However, I think you would need to cut some fibre glass out of the doors to make them fit as the magnets on the rear of the speakers did look quite big (did not want to do that). Instead, on Friday i fitted a set of Infinity speakers all round with flush mounted tweeters in the doors that look much nicer than the dash mounted ones in my opinion. It took about 8 hours to do a good job but i am very impressed with the sound. Also, Infinity do a nice 10" sub that i am going to install in between the rear seats so i can maybe remove the 12" sub from the boot if it sounds good enough (also makes room for my daughters buggy).

anyone tried www.caraudiodirect.co.uk my mate swears by them, I'm looking at the MP3 incar thing too, not good trying to change CD's on the move on your own, I know you can get at least up to 100 albums on MP3 CD, and they can play normal CD's, CD-R, etc. There's a review section too to give you users feedback on them.

Karl, I enquired and listened to the Eclipse speakers in "Pulse" in Hadleigh. They had all the equipment you have in your car. I thought you may have had it installed by them. Look forward to hearing it. I found the trouble with asking for advice about ICE is that the shops are obviously only interested in selling you what they stock.
