can anyone help? ive acquied this as my new track day car and is looking for any info i can get on this car, chassis no.1845 i was told it use to live at thruxton race track but have nothing to back this up!! so if anyone could shed some light on this or any formula renult track cars i would be greatful cheers simon

Have you thought about contacting Van Diemen? They should have a record of who it was originally sold to at the very least. You might be able to follow the trail of where it ended up from there.

is it a 1700 or a 2000 engined car? the reason I ask is that the 1700 have not been used for a good while so it may have been at a racing shcool on at sprints/hillclimbs. I think it would be eligable for monoposto championships so you might want to have a look there, I dont think it is eligable for Formula 4 though so sprints/hillclimbs might be the answer. That said the class is 1601cc-2000cc so I would have thought it might be overlooked for such events.
