Lifted from "I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue" broadcast yesterday:

Humph: "Hit that button"

Sound of

Sound of Colin Sell's head hitting keyboard.

(OK it's a bit of an ISIHAC-anoraks joke!!

On this subject, is it because I use Fotango that my picture is tiny when compared to, say, Sixspeed's full page spread?

John

If you want to stick with webshots it looks like you do this: -

log in
go to 'my photos'
select create a 'new album'
fill in boxes, hit finished
fill in boxes, hit finished
fill in details of address of your photos in your computer C: etc
hit upload

Doesn't look tooooo friendly

Hope this helps.

Think yr number plate is neat, in a mirror!

No, I think it's because that is the size of your pic that you've uploaded. Go to Jeremyc's profile. Too BIG jc, we're not all on Broadband

NickD was correct: Fotango resizes whatever you host there.

The picture on my profile is hosted elsewhere and so is displayed at its 'native' resolution.

Talking of natives, how are the frozen wastelands these days MikeyT - got electricity yet?

Can't thank you enough for the help with the photos. I have now got photos in MY CARS including my old Z3 with no ground clearance whatsoever and my Mini Cooper Gas Powered BBQ photo licence plate BBQ 1. This photo is just for you guys. Nice of my mate to get me with my face all screwed up like a bulldog chewing a wasp at Donington July 2001

It's because web shots is a bit shit

You can only see the picture on PH if you've already viewed it in Webshots (depending on what browser you've got (I think))

I can see it

Bugger! Well at least a few people can see the photo. I have just spent twenty minutes downloading from Webshot to MY CARS section of Pistonheads. At least i know a bit more about how to get a photo on here. It was driving me crazy. I will try fotango like suggested.

There's a lot of peolpe having trouble getting pics on here .. can't Ted do something much simpler for us I wonder .. Ted? .. when I upload pics to my Freeserve (spoit) webspace I just browse for the file on my hard drive and hit "upload" and it's done .. is that not possible here?
