Husband liked my cabriolet so much, and because I would not let him dive it (as much as he would have liked!!)he then decided to purchase a 944 Lux .He has now got hold of a 'mod chip' to give him an extra 20hp( a resistor I believe )Does anybody know where this is supposed to go/fit????

Anna, if your being serious then the best place is in the bin!
All it will do is fool the DME into thinking the engine is colder than it is and overfueling it. It won't do the bores or your fuel consumption any good.
If you really want a bit more umph then get a Promax chip and use that, but it won't be £20 though and you'll struggle to get 20BHP as its quite highly tuned to start with.
