Can't say I have ever heard of it, but just pleased somebody actually recognises what James (and the team) have done for racing here.

Congratulations!

I think a very worthy winner. At a micro level there have been and still are issues that need sorting but that`s just fine tuning. The fact is James has ploughed on in there and shaken the world of UK motorsport up a bit. For too long it`s laid semi dormant with championships and series that were running in pre-historic times still forming the backbone of club racing.

Love him or loath him, (and it`s likely to one or the other !), you can`t deny the dude has managed to create a hell of a platform on which to come out and play. It`s also interesting how he`s managed to integrate such a wide spectrum of cars, drivers and their relative abilities.

And as for the 24 hour race - Christ only knows the hoops he had to jump through. I only hope the circuit follows his lead next year and allows such radical ideas as - no seriously trust me on this one - camping & parking around the circuit. Who knows in 30 years time the circuit might even let car clubs have their own little areas to gather set up camp for the weekend and have fun ! Maison Blanche round the back of Vale ?

Well done to the whole team. I`m sure there were times they wished they`d never started !

Next year - Jonathan Palmer 6/5 odds on favourite ?

Keep smiling and see you all in Jan.

Henry

From my side of the catch-fencing, James and crew have certainly developed a fascinating series that can surely only go from strength to strength. As Henry pointed out, there are still minor niggles to sort but, hey, it's only a 3 or 4 season old series. Being able to park and camp within Silverstone's hallowed walls would be a bonus next year, certainly if we get weather like we had in September this year!

Great racing, superb cars and a really good atmosphere to be involved with. I'll certainly be pitching up again in '06 to support the best race series in the UK. Well done, James, a deserved accolade indeed!

Well done James for pulling it off credit to for John, Claire and the press guy who I had a lift with at Brands.
