litronics can you delitronic them

hello chaps i have an early 996 with standard amber headlamps i have the chance of some clear lenses but are litonics is it possible to fit these thanks dave

My answer is a guess, but I'm posting as I recently took mine out to change for continental driving beam patern.

All of the Litronic stuff sits on the lamp unit and it slots into a power connector that I doubt gets changed for xenon fitments.

My only reservations would be if you have the plumbing for the washers.

Whilst washers are a legal requirement for new xenon equiped cars, I am pretty sure that you do not have to have them for aftermarket upgrades.

On a 996 the headlamp unit is the same regardless of whether washers are fitted. There is a cut out on the front edge which either takes a grey / amber blanking panel, or a grey / amber wash panel (raised with a hole).
