V8 Volante vs 997 Carrera S Cab?

Spotted an AM (badged as a DB9) Volante earlier just north of Warwick (obv close to Gaydon) closely tailed by a 997 C2S Cab. Roofs down, North Face jacket and woolly hat-clad engineer types on board. The DB9 was black and its rear end was covered in tape and black plastic. Both took off pretty sharpish up the A4177. Just emailed my mate at the Prodrive test track at Fen End to see if they are there as AM use it for testing.

I think it was the AM V8 Volante though, hence the disguise. I'm used to seeing AM's test cars in the area and a lot of the test V8's were badged as DB9's.

Anyone else in the area seen this pair?
