Look very similar to the Recaros and seem to be rather a bargain ! (No idea about quality though ......)

Nice site there Jamie! Seems like good prices on the Recaros and the Sparcos,

I think Rob at advanced car products will shortly be doing carbon fibre backed GT3 style seats in cloth or leather..

Look at the thumbnail piccy in the bottom right hand corner - they seem to be doing reproduction versions of the Recaro SPG/Pole Position/Porsche RS seat in fibreglass or carbon. Fibreglass version only 299 Euros ie about £205 (half the price of a genuine Recaro). They look like a SPG from the front but have the same 'bracing' moulding on the backs as the genuine RS seats. Anyway I though they looked interesting and the quality in the photos looks pretty good ..........

They do look nice and the weight at only 5.6 kilos is very tempting. I shall be looking for some bucket seats when my car comes back but I wonder how comfy these particular ones are on a long haul (say up to Oulton or down to Spa )

Did Spa in my super-narrow SPGs last year and they were extremely comfortable. They don't allow a lot of wriggle-room, but IMHO the driving position and the way they support your body is vastly superior and more comfortable than any other seat I have used.

These repro seats are 430mm wide - I can't remember whether that is the SPG width or the Pole Position (ie a bit wider). A quick check on the Recaro website would answer that question. For reference I would say that the SPG is comfortable for anyone with up to about a 33-34 inch waist, so you definitely need to be on the smaller side !! Any bigger and I would go for the Pole Position !
