My immobilisor seems to have gone bonkers in my 993. The company who fitted the PA1000, will reprogramme it for me but I need to send the motherboard to them.

To do this I neeed to get the drivers seat out. Is this a simple as just finding the right bolts and undoing them or is a bit more involved.
cheers

Seats out but predictably problems don't end there

There are two boxes containing electronics under the drivers seat. One big one - probably six inches square and 2 inches deep, marked Nokia with a 993 part number. This does open up to reveal a motherboard but the description doesn’t quite fit that given to me by the engineer at Hamilton and Palmer(manufactures of PA1000) - at least to the untrained eye like mine.

The other is much smaller, silver in colour and bolted to the floor and carries a 928 part number/ The writing in this one is in German which leads me to suspect it wasn’t added in the UK as H&P did all the UK PA1000s I believe)

Does anyone know which I need to attack or do I need to wait until H&P reopen 3rd Jan.

Many thanks

The Nokia one is most likely for your audio system. I'm guessing your car has the DSP?

The 928 part number is either for the central locking or the speed control. Please post the full part number.

Have you checked under the passenger seat?
