Really looking forward to this one, although the prospect of being on track with an R34 is a bit scary!

When did they start doing track days at East Fortune ??? I used to live about 6 miles away, and thought it was only bikes they let on the track....... It's be over 2 years since I moved.

This will be the 3rd track day they've run. Did one in Aug 2 years ago, then one in Apr last year, and tried to do another one in Sep last year but didn't get the numbers.

I did the first two, excellent stuff, the track resurfacing is great (see other threads on PH about it, just search East Fortune...)

Need to get my suspension redone before March though

ETA: It's listed at £89 - that seems really cheap for a full day - is this correct? Anyone know?

Just set off right behind it, I reckon if I do that I can get 2 laps before it catches me up

Mind it doesn't say it is a GTR?

As long as he's looking in his mirrors...

Faster cars are nothing to worry about. I assume it'll be the normal overake on the left by consent (will all be explained in the briefing). Check your mirrors coming onto the straights and if someone is behind, indicate, pull over to the right and let them past (easing off the throttle if required).

I'm signed up.

Cheers,
Ali

it is a GTR, but only mildly tuned (circa 500 BHP) - but it needs to be dry to keep up with anyone as cup sport tyres are crap in the wet.

there was a trackday planned last sept, but it was cancelled at the last minute due to lack of numbers - never been there before but looking forward to it - should be a good day!

I suspect I might be doing a lot of that - I'm planning on using the MR2, which looks by some margin to be the slowest car there, even without the handicap of the slowest driver

Still, should be fun

that's the one! CT & myself were watching it Sept last year just before the last EF trackday was cancelled.

looks a good track - think the track was resurfaced spring last year - hopefully be a cold dry day!!

Not sure where I got that video from originally, might even have been on here It was originally posted on another forum after someone asked regarding the amount of runoff.

Anyway, if the owner would prefer that I take it down, then no problem. Great video though

That'll be why he has a wee chuckle when you zoom past in the Radical...

It's all booked.

I'm on the reserve list, but they asked if I would be interested in coming along on Sunday the 5th as they were considering running one on this day as well, so my guess is that if you try and book the 4th, they will run the 5th if there is enough demand! So get booking!
