Sounds like a good idea.
When I bought my car I just told Anna, it was a Skyline, and she had seen photos of them before and was ok with it.
When I pulled into our road and she came to the window and mouthed "What the f*** have you done!" I realised I should have shown her the pictures of what I was buying!
Are there any meets coming up? Or anyone fancy a mini meet then parking up, then going for a few beers?

Slightly OT but
Apparently an engineless Speed 12 was spotted being pushed down a road in North Shields. Still trying to get the full info on this sighting as it wasn't me that seen it guv.
The guy that saw it ID it from pictures I sent him but still trying find out if it really truly was a 12 - unfortunately he didn't get a picture of it before it was driven off on a loader.

Just to throw the spanner in the works, I think you'll find all tvr's different, even the same models. The chim 500 can be anything from sub 4 secs to over 5 as I discovered when I put mine up against a mates. Just got to be lucky and get it to bite down on take off.
Best bet is to get the right model for you and then, in speed 6 territory, get a tight engine rebuild. might cost around 6 k for a good one but its worth it, well at least for a year.
In my experience the Tuscan S and the 4.5 are neck and neck. The only difference is that the S may break down on its way to 60.
If anyone read the EVO write up on the Sagaris and the TSO, this prooves the point, with the TSO leaving the Tiv in its wake and the test drivers saying it was way slower than any other they drove. Why? One day they'll do exactly what they say on the tin!!
But ya can't help but love em.
