shall i buy a maserati spider?

Hi All,
Having finaly realised I just can't afford a Ferrari 360 modena and don't want a 1990's 355, I am looking at a 2003 Maserati Spider. Is it a good drive, expensive to run, petrol guzler? I like the look of it, but can't find any decent enough reveiws to help me make a decision. HELP Please - greatly appreciated!

the Masers a good car but out of interest whats wrong with a 355? compared to the Maserati the 355 is much better to drive. to some it is often considered to be one of the greatest V8 Ferrari's ever. its well worth a look you can get a good 355 for around 50k now and if you don't mind sitting on the left even less. definetely consider it. you won't be dissapointed!

Echo that.I've been fortunate enough to own a number of great cars but the 355 was really special - it's the only car I wish I'd never sold.Try one before you go!

Only replying because I can't sleep but surely the 355 is the way to go, absolutely the dogs bocks, and street ahead of the Masa IMHO

Got an 03 spyder and its the mutts nutts with a tubi on

Also worth adding they are vastly differnt cars. I'd love a 355, a 360 spyder even more so, but can't get that by the company car rules (plus I'm a consultant so they would look really really bad - as opposed to jsut bad!)

What do you want the car for? What sort of drivng etc etc

Different cars mate for differnt things.
