Spotted, F40 in Poole

It was red and was driving along the front at Sandbanks, great sound.

I laughed at that but then thought, is there any factory F40s that are not red? I can only assume someone somewhere has sprayed one somewhere along the line.

F40s were supplied from the factory in either rosso, giallo (yellow) or nero (black).

Although, like all Ferraris, if a customer is absolutely determined, the factory will normally supply a car in any colour at all after a little financial manipulation!

Regarding the RHD F40. As far as I know (please correct me if anyone knows better), there is only one RHD F40 in the UK. It is metallic grey. Talacrest were selling it a couple of years ago. I believe that it was carpeted and generally trimmed in a "comfy" way.

i,ve seen the yellow f40 at the ferrari garage in colchester

in 1988 the science museum in london had a black one on disply,and also the son of the saltan of bruni will only have yellow cars and i had a car mag years ago with pics of his garage and the greedy bugger had 3 yellow 1s next to each other,and on www.wreakedexotics.com theres a mashed yellow 1.

i still think the F40,959 and xj220 are the daddies
