Yes, I was probably stupid, but I was in a rush. After a quick pressure wash (including well into the rear wheel arches), my GT3 started, but sounded rough and the engine check light came on, together with the helpful message "take your car to a workshop"
Is this just a simple wet plug/coil/other electrical part that will go away, or something more drastic. The engine check light went off after a while, but the engine still sounds like one cylinder isn't firing...
Any advice/insults gratefully received!

let it dry. dont drive it until it is.

obvious, but true. most especially if you think youve got a M/F.

Had something similar on my C2, it would intermittently sound like it was misfiring and chugged like a tractor. Took it Charles Ivey and the ignition coil packs were damaged. Had to replace them all, now back to normal. Hope that helps.
