I keep reading in the press that Premiership footballer Robbie Savage has just bought a "one off" customised Murcielago.
Does anyone know of it or have any pics.
I am just curious. Could it be one of the 40th Aniversary cars. There are only 2 RHD cars in the UK and I think that Jodie Kidd has one of them.
Pics please!

I thought Jodie Kidd has a 04 Azzuro Aquarius Murcielago, not a 40th Edition

And when the driveshafts let go after about 5000 miles..any 19 or 20'' wheels on a Murcie interferes with both the traction control and much worse the 4wd system. Happens all the time in the US. I'm sure Alan Robb will tell us why?!!

But....is he bovvered?

He'd probably just jump in the F360 Spider or 996 Turbo Cab he's got.

By the way I have a new found respect for Harry Kewell. He has a 996 GT2 in his garage.

I'd have more respect for Kewell if it was actually out of the garage and being used! lol

His daily driver is the new Ford Mustang GT 6.0 as well as the ubiquitous Hummer H2.

It seems the GT2 is a "dry road" only car. Sensible boy.

Savages parents live down the road from me, as he is origianally from where I live. Seen him shooting past in a yellow gallardo a couple of times.

All I'm going to say on the subject is that Murcielagos are an evolution of the Diablo drive-train, and when Chrysler designed the four wheel drive system, they designed it for 17's on the front, and 18's at the rear.

Audi changed it for 18's all round in 1998, but it was never designed for anything more. Just ask West Coast Motors in the US.

Also, no, I can't say where he got his car from!

Alan.

He used to have a 360 when he left Leeds Utd with a very distinctive Kewell number plate!
