GTB or Berlinetta = Fixed Roof
GTS = Targa Top (comes off and stows behind the seats) Best of both worlds
Spider = Convertible (Roof mechanism is a bit prone to failing and costs a lot to fix)

thanks for that, looks like the GTS is the best all rounder. Is 355 looked at as a classic?

Personally I hated my GTS - squeeked rattled and leaked. Would prefer a Berlinetta for the lines and rigidity followed by a Spider for pose value

ok these are all good points, now i actually prefer the way the spider looks to the coupe/GTS but am concerned what the roof maybe like on a car that is 10-8 years old.

Any recent experiences(stuh)?
