Help..I've made a right error!

Ive made a right error...Please help

Outlook hasnt been working, so i borrowed a windows 2000 pro disk from a mate and reinstalled 2000. Now word, excel powerpoint etc wont work..

Can anyone help?

(if i double click on an icon, it asks for the disk then looks for asks for data1.mis)

Borrow the disk again and then wait till it asks for it. Pop it in the CD drive and it'll sort itself out

Make sure to launch each Office program while you have the CD.

Ive got the CD now, but it says its looking for data1.mis and wont accept the CD.

Thats because you're using a Windows 2000 disk, rather than the Office X disk that the silly thing is looking for. You need to re-install Office as well as Windows as Office puts program files all over the system, so those bits have all gone phut when you fragged Windows.

If you have a "restore" disk anywhere, would recommend backing up data and settings, and going for it.

You need the MS office CD, not the Windows CD.
