On some websites red X's come up in a small box instead of the usual pictures downloading. This is only site specific....

Is there anything I can do, or enable to let me see all of the pictures?

Sorry, but working computers isn't my thing.

Now unavailable or so I thought Mike.

a lot of my fave-old-threads have these in,
which is why I simply can't save and re-post a picture of Steve's TVR
on the back of a low-loader, every time I re-read a thread, where it was pictured
the little box pop up as it 'not working' anymore

is it synonymous, with these cars perhaps

whats your car again

If the image has been removed, it's game over.

Often however it's because a site won't allow hotlinking or referalls from a certian site, in which case right click the red X => properties, Copy the URL and paste it into a new browser window.

Oh, so its you bloody keeping me awake at night flying about the downs :grr:

knew I shouldn't have done those donuts on the grass down by the sea walls

On another cheeky note: You ever been tempted at night to look into the bushes along the downs at night with your infra-red/heat seeking thingy (ooer) and then shout at all the doggers with your loud-hailer? Would be hilarious...

Unfortunately I know exactly what goes on in the downs at night, I was going to say I have first hand experience, but that would have sounded wrong.

I don't fly it Neil, they barely trust me with cars but have been on a secondment observing.

Anyway, how do I get the red x 's sorted out. .....

Think your out of luck really on this one.

I've never been able to retrieve photo's in a new browser or anything like that.

you simply have to save them the first time around, (if you on about pics previously viwed)

Umm, well, sort of up to my ears in it again Rich.

1. Volvo S60 - Nice but doesn't really do it for me...for sale...
2. Alfa 164 - 262,000 miles, drives brilliantly, cost me £150 has 12 months mot and taxed until July - can't go wrong.
3. Tvr S3C - sold to minimax, he's picking it up soon
4. Tvr 350I - bought from dickymint as a rolling project - I was bored and posted a thread about projects, but at the time I was looking to buy a griffith, so that's on hold.

Life's never boring rich, still got the porker?

I have,
Yes I still own the same car!
Mind you have changed the work-mobile quite a few times in last, what 3 years

currently on a Toyota, at the moment in the charming weather we've had.

shortish journeys in an old 911, are bad news for the engine/oil
and not to good for driver, with the level of heating installed.

having said that, the suns is most definitely out now so
might be time to get out
