points to look out for when buying a Supra

I am new to PH and to Supras and I am thinking of buying one. I am not too sure whether to go for the Twin Turbo or the non-turbo. I was also wondering about any other points to look out for when buying such a car

I am currently driving, now don't laugh, an Audi A4, but it is a 1.8T :-). My budget is around 7-7.5K, which means I should be able to pick up a nice twin turbo potentially. I was just wondering about the difference in performance between the two. I know that I don't know much, but I know that there will be "some" difference in performance, but I was wondering about how much difference :-)

I am sure that any supra will hammer an Audi A4 :-). I also don't want to attract "too" much attention (from the robbing type of scumbag). Therefore no veilside kits, graphics, etc, etc.

How do you spot the differences?
I know UK turbos have the bonnet scoop or something?

What proportion are turbos and what proportion official UK turbos?

OK and the differences between the Turbos/non-turbos? (As if you hadn't proved your extensive knowledge already ) I am genuinely interested. And how many manuals vs. autos and how do the two drive?

A nice supra with the right modifications does look truly stunning. One of the few cars that really does suit modding without looking stupid.
