Taking a tour around the TVR web site, I noticed that they sell model cars. You can even get it painted in your colours.

Has anyone bought one of these? Are they worth the 90 pounds that they are asking?

they are very good models but you can't buy them from TVRCC anymore, they are made by a company called SMTS in Hastings and can be bought direct, tel 01424 853353. I have a couple and have just received their Speed 12 model in Scania livery which looks excellent. By the way anyone after an unusual model, there is a Wade (china?) Chimaera on ebay.
Cheers and Merry Christmas Al.

thirsty, my wife bought me a Chimaera for Xmas a couple of years ago before I had a Chimaera. She bought it on the phone from the club and had it painted in bespoke colours and reg no. as well! (note that I didn't have one). This was however, the official sanction to sell the wedge and get one. Took me ages to find a car that was the same as the model though! And yes, they are very detailed and worth it.

I've got one of these - I bought it from Henley Heritage. Very nice it is too! A few tiny details not quite right, but they even managed to match the anthracite wheels. A very nice little toy indeed!

tried to order one through club but they no longer do them cos its not worth their while profit wise. only options are direct, specialist model dealer or TVR dealer if your lucky. if you go direct can get in kit form and spray/build yourself for less than half price.
happy hunting Al.
