Quote seems a little cheap for what the car is, but all details are correct i double checked. These are the only quotes i managed to get for my stepfather who is in his 50s, not myself. If only he could afford £300,000

I didn't look at the names of the insurers, but its from www.autotrader.co.uk/CARS/motoring/ins/insurance-centre.jsp
I imagine they look at the average F50 owner (hardly his daily driver is it?), look at the average miles per annum, look at the fact that it won't be taken out in the rain/ice/snow, look at how many F50s were crashed in the last couple of years...
and assume its a very safe 'risk' so quote low.
£1100 still seems madness though!

Hmm lets adjust that to a 25 year old student ?
Yeah i guess that would affect it, but if you are well paid or well off (and to own any Ferrari you would have to be) your job isn't really that important to insurers i would imagine.
I work for one and occupations are a factor, for example unemployed status results in a 30% loading!
