Sti or FQ-340?

Which car is better for everyday usage? Sti or 340.

STi probably less likely to break I guess, and longer service intervals. as far as everyday driving I imagine they'll be fairly similiar, scoob may be slightly softer. (but thats not saying much about softness)

For everyday usage buy a WRX and get it chipped to 265bhp (same as base STI).

The 2004 STI I drove had an extremely harsh ride. My Evo is much more supple but as mentioned previously, the service intervals are very frequent - 4500miles.

STI and the Evo can be a bit hardcore which is why I recommended the WRX. My boss has one with Prodrive upgrades and it makes a very good road car.

If you don't do big miles and can handle the running costs then get the Evo. Get a MR300 or MR320(better exhaust) and Ecutek it. You'll end up with more bhp than a 340 and more mpg.

Or maybe you're thinking of going from the 400 to the 340?

the scooby is more reserved and comfortable, but there's everywhere and are getting a reputation as the chav chariot..

the evo is a nutter mobile, but it seems they are all driven by people who think they can go tilt all the time..

I would say the STi for the everyday car (and lower running costs).

But if it was my choice I would pick the evo as it is not so common
(help I think I have been taken over by a strange force..lol)
