Would depend on the year of manufacture... ESVA for a late model car would be a pig so, not knowing much about the NSX, it would depend on when the type R was made.

I have read that only 100 were going to be made for the Jap market as a final farewell to the NSX...guess Honda thought it wasnt worth making it a UK car as not many of the standard model sold over here..

I would love to get hold of one though if a few do come over from Japan.

They eventually decided not to sell it here. Back in December there was one for sale at Chiswick Honda for £90k!! This was apparently the same one that Autocar had as a long termer which they sold for around £60k so someone somewhere added a slight mark-up!

This is as far as I know because it came up on another forum.

Thats for the latest one with the funny looking lights. They also made Type-Rs of the original which will probably be a lot cheaper, if there are any actually in the country.

IIRC there was an original NSX-R for sale on the NSX GB forum a while ago.

There is an early (95)NSX-R available on the NSX forum for £38k(ish), the only late UK one is up for £90k>. Wonderful car; if I won the lotto in a big way I really would buy it even though the price is ridiculous. Would be a magnificent and unique toy @ £60k - amazing driving experience, Steve Sutcliffe should know I'm extremely jealous that he got significant time behind the wheel as part of Autocar's promo efforts. Sadly it wasn't enough to convince Honda UK and that was that
