One of my last trips in my 3200 as it has now sold.(goes on Sunday. Gutted) was from Blackpool to Great Yarmouth. I spotted a metallic green 3300 on a roundabout near Caister (anyone on here?) would have followed up but it dissapeared too quickly. Then on route home had a silver fezza behind me on the M55 kept slowing down to let it past for a look but it kept pulling in behind me. Both cars a credit to their owners! What am i going to do when the Mazzer has gone (sob sob)

I'm sure everyones thoughts are with you on this sad occasion.
Time heals. After a suitable mourning period you will be able to replace your lost love without any guilt.

The car was for sale due to a second baby (can't fit another seat behind me). I had a very tentative advert on here and someone drove over 200 miles and bought it (i definately under priced it). I say tentative as i did not really want to sell it yet (next March was the deadline). I was just about to withdraw the advert and hang on to it. However if someone has the money you can't refuse the sale. I am going to look at an XJR tomorrow but any suggetions would be good (under 20K, fast and big). The next buy will be a QP when they get to sensible prices.

I'm having a not dissimilar dilemma. If your thinking of the XJR route and they are lovely if you get the black dash and upper environment, try an S8, although a bit dated inside I found it much more fun. Shame it had a vile green interior!

Pardon for asking, but much more fun than...?

Slightly less cosseting, nowhere near as quick, much much nicer engine note ( I found the XJR s/c note a bit boring)found the handling much more to my liking felt a bit stiffer, and didn't feel like a big car, fantastic seats, very old school dash and buttons but it just seemed to work for me.Not knocking the XJR and still might end up with one, but it would be a 52 plate S8 at around 19K if I could convince the wife the shape isn't "that" old fashioned. Will leave enough for a toy again then!

Surely it would have to be a nice M5? For £20k you'd have a very good choice!
