New Civic - Diesel

Just been for a 3 hour test drive in one - crikey it's quick!! Starship Enterprise dash too....

Anyone else had a go?

Not quite sure about the new type R though- the spoiler on that has to go.

As for the Diesel, it's a fantastic car but they are very common now. The engine is fantastic though

Test drove it back to back with a diesel accord - it is a very different drive! A lighter car means less appearance of lag and when full boost does arrive, it is hilariously fast. The engine certainly seems to suit the lighter car. Drove it like I stole it and still got nearly 50 to the gallon as well....

Seems to be a bit of a waiting list too - they are already giving out August build slot dates.

Hey guys!

I've got a Civic Diesel Sport and its one great car!

Like you've already said the power is fantastic!!

My last car was a Focus ST and that was great fun - but I'm enjoying the Civic more.

The handling doesn't feel as secure as my ST straight away but you can still throw the car into the corners with confidence - well after a few initial nervous moments!

Really good car tho! It is like driving a space ship and my mates have christened it K.I.T.T!!

I'm getting 50mpg+ to out of it too!!
