Insurance rant

Just been on the phone to Adrian Flux to see if its possible for me to insure a J spec NA supra.

After waiting on hold for half an hour and a brief conversation it turns out they won't quote me cos I've never had a performance car before.

Some advice for AF:

IF YOU CAN'T/WON'T QUOTE UNDER THOSE CIRCUMSTANCES THEN PUT IT ON YOU'RE SODDING WEBSHITE.

Don't leave me hanging on the phone like a goon only to tell me to go away.

(especially when Admiral will quote me, online no less, for a mere £834 fully comp)

Time wasting muppets.

Have you tried sky insurance ? they have a scheme for Supras with very keen pricing and agreed values and like for like parts replacement.

Sky insure both our heavily modified celicas, and are cheap too...

Have heard a lot of glowing reports for 'A plan'. Seems they apply some common sense where mods are concerned too.

I've had real problems getting competative quotes from Adrian Flux - even on my daily drivers. Went through A Plan in the end with very good rates.
