MX5 / Eunos 1.8 V Special Type II

I am looking for a Mk1 MX5 / Eunos with a LSD and love the classic look of the British Racing Green V Special's with their tan leather interiors and wooden steering wheel and gear knob. I have seen a V Special Type II on Sam Goodwins website which looks very good along with a VR limited for a grand more at £5995... Decisions Decisions!

My questions are:

Did the V Special type II have a LSD as standard? One site I have found says it did whilst another contradicts this...

Has anyone bought a car from Sam Goodwins? What were they like to deal with?
