You know what got me initially interested was my two friends with Ford V8s in their Miatas. Bill's is an insane 377 Stroker with aluminum heads, radical cam. 90 mm throttle body. He is a senior driving instructor with Pro Autosports and picks on Porsches, Ferraris and Vipers on track for fun. Ernie's Miata is more of a custom street cruiser with nice clean style points. Both have got around 400 RWHP but with alot of engine work to achieve it.
I love Chevy LS generation III & IV V8s and was attracted by the idea of having 400 HP and 400 Ft/Lbs torque with the reliability / drivability of a "Stock" engine.
