Decide if you want a convertible or not. In the real world on a public road a Chimaera/Griff are not far behind the Cerbera. The Cerbera has a slightly better chassis thus better handling and it has more crash protection too (roll over bar and door impact beams). The Speed Six engine is not as bad as you think - look how fast the Tuscan is. Most reliability issues 'should' have been sorted now. A Speed Six Cerbera is softer than the V8s, but no girls blouse! Chimaeras/Griffiths are the same in performance/handling/running costs. Decide which shape you like and go for it. These cars are pretty reliable thanks to the Rover (i.e. Land Rover etc.) V8 engine. Yes, 5.0L is faster, but a 4.0L is not exactly slow. One thing - buy on condition, not mileage or age. TVRs hate being left in the garage for weeks on end. All IMHO Trefor/.
