Seen again tonight travelling up the hill from the Flouch roundabout towards Manchester, shall we say "Taking no Prisoners". Sounded glorious. I was in the Tuscan 2 heading in the opposite direction. If you see a mad man in a white Berlingo van or a Silver Tuscan waving at you on Mottram moor in the mornings then that will be me.

That's me then - just putting my foot down to beat the slow moving truck, actually had a good drive back tonight, the woodhead was for once not blocked by trucks.

Flash next time you see me - always good to know fellow PHers. Was down at the Brighton gathering last weekend and was surprised how many PHers turned up, but sadly didn't get to talk to many.

Hi Simon, was admiring your car at Bolton Abbey a couple of weeks ago. I did flash tonight but by the time my eyes told my brain and my brain told my finger and the electricity hit the lamp and the filament heated up, you were in Hollingworth

We were on our way to the Flouch for a meal. Crap drive over from Glossop but had a rather spirited drive on the way back when the road was a little quieter.

I'll give you a flash next week when I'm in the usual early morning Mottram crawl but I'll be in the van.

Some great roads there...I live close by....any of the roads past the flouch are mint!!

Back towards Stocksbridge is perhaps the best?

Didn't think the restaurants were still open?

Yeah, restaurants are still open. They have a Cantonese and an Indian. We had a Cantonese meal last night which to honest was a bit naff. We will stick to the Kwei Ping in Glossop in future.
