temoerature gauge

Am having problems locating a temperature gauge for a k-plate chimp.... I have spoken to about 10 main dealers and tvr themselves, apparently the stop making them after only a year, anyone got any ideas where i can pick up a new or used one... CHeers... Am scared ****less driving the car without having a good knowledge of how hot the lump is getting... (Does not over heat though (touch wood)) which is a good thing.... Inovator

Are the instruments not made by Smiths? Maybe they can help. (They're a famous instrument maker BTW.) It might be that your gauge will need to be repairing if it's a rare one. BTW, why does it need replacing? BTW2, you can 'smell' when a TVR is getting a bit hot & bothered.

Try TMS (TVR Gear) From what I can remember, they list the white gauges with the black rims.

Try ETB instruments in Essex - They bought the company that made the instruments for the early chimps - they do a repair service or they may have an old one that they can sell you - there number is: 01702 711127. good luck. Another option, is to buy a more recent Temp gauge and then fit the sender that goes with it.
