Saw a 997tt today but the GT3 is what I want...
Discussion
Just saw a newly delivered 997 turbo at Cambridge OPC when I was collecting my car from service. Some sort of non-descript metallic blue made my midnight blue 996 look fabulous. However, generally loved the look of it in the flesh.
But while I was talking to the service guy and about to leave in my car, a fantastic guards red GT3 came by on the way to the front display. I can't believe how much crisper that engine sounds than the turbo, it was just barking out. Suddenly I went all "I want a GT3"
Although getting into the turbo I forgot about it

No turbos being delivered yet (same with GT3)....
your wrong dealers just aren’t allowed to sell/display them yet (not till the 21 of June i believe)
Porsche don’t work like Santa where everything is delivered the night before
Exacly, so are cars being delivered yet? NO! The embargo stops the 24th of June I believe, no customer cars are allowed to be reg. before. Launch cars are a different matter......

That'll be Cobalt Blue, which actually looks pretty rude when the light shines on it, kind of multicoloured. That's why it costs an arm and a leg, and has been on the vanguard of the dealer cars for each of the 9*7 models.Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
