Front Rear Spoiler

I seem to recall in one of the postings a company that were making the front splitter and rear spoiler to the Tuscan as an aftermarket product. I think the prices were £240/120.

Has anyone got their number or website.

TVR Casoli Tel: [phone]. Front spoiler in carbon fibre £280, in GRP £150, rear spoiler (GRP only) - unpainted £175.

If I am correct, Casoli is a motorbike shop who are used to making fairings/mouldings etc for bikes - especially in carbon. I think the owner has a Tuscan so putting 2 and 2 together has been busy making things. I tried calling them but never got an answer. Their ad was in Jan '03 trade classifieds in TVRCC 'Sprint'. i thought TVR were against supplying or anyone else
supplying tuscan S aerodymanic aids to non S cars??
if not i can see a few owners taking advantage IMHO
the tuscan looks alot better with a rear spoiler.

TVR will not supply 'S' body kits for non-S Tuscans - that's true. However, nothing to stop you adding your own body kits and it has been done before with spoilers and rear splitters - though I don't know where they came from. TVR will also oppose anyone copying their parts/design. I expect what Casoli and other companies manufacture parts that are slightly different from the originals to overcome this.

I suppose it is down to the individual whether they like that rear spoiler or not just as colour choice is an individual preference. I do like the idea of a front spoiler though if helps push air around the car rather than under it at (high) speed - must be a good thing.

I was speaking to one of the drivers at the TVR Centre and he is all for the front splitter to hold the front don’t at high speed. He said the front does get a bit light. The rear spoiler was not that necessary, and I think it does look odd from some angles.

Anyway, as mine is a RED ROSE, the TVR Centre are going to ask TVR if I can have them fitted. I understand the front splitter comes with a fixing kit and is not that had to install.

I'll let you know how I get on.

Beware the spoiler makes the car very low, I have to go down a slope into my garage with the spoiler I need planks to get in and out.

Make sure they fit a bolt at the front, this was an enhancement, without it it pulls down at speed.

Even with all this mine has pulled off the bolts at speed.

I find that it feels scary light above 140 until I get it replaced. I suppose this is as it needs to counter the one at the back. From this I think you want both back and front to keep the car in balance and not just half the kit.
