Hi there,

On my way back from the office today doing the usual M606/M62 and M1 run when I spotted a White Lamborghini Gallardo heading West on the M62 around the M1 junction. Looked stunning in this colour, the car was being driven quite hard and from memory it had the grey wheels, could have been an SE although could not tell as it was passing in the opposite direction.

I thought the colour was "Ballon White", but there is a standard Gallardo for sale on E-bay and the colour is listed as "Bianco Cygnus".

Pics of the one on E-Bay: -

The flat white looks better than the pearlescent IMO.

Car looks v cool. Sooo Miami Vice. You would have to wear a linen jacket with the sleeves rolled up if you owned that.

That flat white looks nice.

When I was at the factory last October, I saw the Gallardo in pearl white and was knocked out by it. I don't usually like pearl white as it reminds me of a Subaru/Mazda colour, but Lamborghini have really put something in the pearl. It seems to have a rainbow effect that doesn't come out in pics.

Despite all this, I'm stilll not sure about white on a Lambo....it doesn't seem right, somehow.

looks nice in an 80's sort of way! Ferrari do a similar colour called "Bincio Fuji" (sp?) there were pics on here a little while ago of an F430 Spider in that colour. certainly looked different!
is that a red Saleen S7 i see in the background?!

The UK white is pearlesent and is called 'Madre Pearle', I think it is unique to the UK, or at least the first cars in that colour came here. Might be an SE - there were two white ones I believe.

It's got a hint of the 'Don Johnson' about. Sort of retro-cool. I like it.
