are sierra transmissions on 4x4 different to cozzy 4x4

Well what are the differences, put cozzy on the parts description and double the price!

I need 4x4 parts for a saphire cosworth including front drive shafts and sumps, front diffs, gearboxes. Does anyone know what Sierra 4x4 parts will interchange with Shaphire Cosworths and what are the differences between the two systems.

There are a few different variations of the Sierra 4x4 system, i can recommend this site, you might have to registar (free) the boys on there have helped me out lots of times, good luck.

in my old 4x4 cossie i f put a standered 2.0l ghia gear box in called mt75. worked fine. hope thats of help. i got a t5 for sale. slight wine in 5th £175.

There are at least 2 styles of front prop shaft, the UJ went on my XR4x4 front prop, and the replacement has a narrower diameter shaft. I had expected mine to be the lower spec as standard, as it is only the 2 litre version. I believe the front/rear diffs may have different ratios too, as the XRs were intended more as tow cars, 1st gear (MT75 box) does feel very low and is always catching me out when I drop down the box.
